Hello fellow liberators. I just recently found this site. Got some good info from here. I hope to be a regular contributor to the cause. I'm tired of software companies stealing my CPU cycles. "FREE OUR PC's".

You mean there are applications that are memory hogs and are not well-written? Heavens, who would have thought it (besides MS, of course). Hopefully you can use the experience of the people here to guide you in the right direction about what applications are good and which are bad---we have all deleted our fare share of the bad ones!
