alrighty i got a challenge for ya i have 4 70mm case fans a fan controller and a spare power supply... i want to figure out a way to use the fan controller and fans on the top of my desk just as ornamental purpose but still be functional is there a way that ne one can think of to connect the fans to a power supply mount them to a pice of plexy glass without having the power supply be connected to a motherboard....ne imput would be helpfull

Why not wire them together and then to one of the PSU molex connecters. Or even wire them to one end of a USB and just connect the normal end to the existing PC.

Looking at several different fans, you total amps. will be approx. .8amps or 800mA you could use something like this
