Hi all.

I downloaded Internet Explorer 7 two days ago, and now when I open my browser, instead of Yahoo opening (my homepage), Windows Internet Explorer 7 "Get it Now" page still opens.

How do I stop this page from loading, and just go directly to my Yahoo homepage? I'm getting rather annoyed.

Thanks for your help.

Have you 'set' your home page to Yahoo? If not try the following. I don't use IE so I'm not positive there is not an easier way. But this is the way I know it works. Go to Tools select Internet Options, you should see a dialog box. At the very top it will say 'Home Page'. If you are on the page you want already, click 'use current'. If not type in the URL, click apply. Then click OK to get out. Restart your browser.

Hi there, and thanks for the reply. I do have Yahoo set as my home page, so when I open my browser, it should go directly to that site, but instead, I'm being brought to the Internet Explorer 7 download page, which of course, I've already downloaded. I don't get it!! I'm going to keep playing with it to see if I can figure out what's going on.
