Multiple Pop-ups

Hi, I am getting pop-ups from multiple sites. I use firefox, but have explorer on the computer. Explorer will randomely open up and I will get a pop-up from c5.zedo.com or localsrv.com or others. Any help would be appreciated.

Look in your control panels add/remove programs for any of these and uninstall them:

Yazzle by Oin
Purityscan by Oin
Snowballwars by Oin
or anything similar with Oin or Outerinfo in it.
and any other programs you didn't install or don't recognize - if your not sure please ask first

Post back if you find any of the above for further instructions. Otherwise use the programs below.

Install Super Antispyware free. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

There are reports on the web that a rootkit is responsible for the zedo ads. Use the AVG Antirootkit tool in the link below.
