Hello, I've been fighting with virusses and pop ups for the last week and I think I managed to get rid of most of the bad files but now I still have at least 1 virus and my computer start up takes 3 minutes.
The main problem I'm having now is after start up my NOD32 virusscanner gives me a warning:
c:\windows\system32\sstqq.dll
threat: Win32/Adware.virtumonde application
The file can be deleted. It is strongly recommended that you back up any crucial data before you proceed. Event occurred at an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe.

When I restart I get a dll error from windows and the same nod 32 warning window appears again.

Here's what I tried so far: Hitman pro (program that runs several popular antispyware programs: precx CSI free, CW schredder2.19 , ad aware se personal 6.2, spybot search and destroy 1.4 ewido antispyware micro, spyware docor 5.0, sunbelt counterspy and nod32), superantispyware, internet sweeper, registry mechanic, escan antivus toolkit ver4.4.7, spyhunter(finds stuff but isnt free), smitfraudfix, combofix, vundofix latest version and 'virtumondebegone'.

None of them fixed my problem...

Any suggestions about what should be my next step?
I think all the software I've been running to remove my virusses lately have messed with my system, I've had to do some system restores and blue screens. Start up now is still very slow like 3 mins for normal start up and even longer for safemode start up.
Any help is apreciated , thx in advance.

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum sirloudman
My name is Richie and i'll be helping you to fix your problems.

Your version of Sun Java is out of date.
Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.
Please follow these steps to remove older versions of Sun Java, and then update.
1. Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
2. Scroll down to where it says 'Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 update 3'.
3. Click the "Download" button to the right.
4. Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
5. The page will refresh.
6. Click on the link to download 'Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language' and save to your desktop.
7. Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
8. Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
9. Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
10. Click the Change/Remove button.
11. Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java version.
12. Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
13. Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u3-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

If you have previously downloaded ComboFix,please delete that version now.
Now download Combofix and save to your desktop:
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt unless I ask.
*NOTE*
In case your Antivirus or any other realtime scanner is displaying an alert after you downloaded Combofix or while you use Combofix, please disable your scanner and redownload Combofix again.
Some scanners may see some combofix related components as suspicious and block or delete them while there's nothing wrong with them.

Also post a new Hijackthis log please.

I don't know if you need to know this but just in case you do: I still get the virtumonde warning from NOD32 like before:
c:\windows\system32\sstqq.dll
threat: Win32/Adware.virtumonde application
The file can be deleted. It is strongly recommended that you back up any crucial data before you proceed. Event occurred at an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe.

I'm awaiting further instructions, thanks again.

Copy and paste ALL the following text in the Quote box below into Notepad.
Click on File(in the menu at the top)>Save as../Save as Type: 'All Files' /File name: CFScript to your desktop.

File::
C:\WINDOWS\system32\qqtss.bak2
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ihhkj.bak1
C:\WINDOWS\system32\sstqq.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\qqtss.bak1
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nnnmllm.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljklkk.dll.vir
C:\WINDOWS\Tasks\AC84288492EFD880.job
Folder::
C:\VundoFix Backups
Registry::
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\~\Browser Helper Objects\{44E22A0F-9FA2-4FA7-95ED-F7005DB0C799}]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"00007586"=-
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupfolder\C:^Documents and Settings^jonas^Menu Start^Programma's^Opstarten^PowerReg Scheduler.exe]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\warez]

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\mountpoints2\{ffbc93c7-b1a7-11d9-a232-00904b91f9ee}]

Now drag then drop the CFScript file onto ComboFix.exe as seen in the image below.

This will start ComboFix again.
After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply along with a new HijackThis log.

You're running filesharing programs.
Many of these programs come bundled with unwanted components/malware.
If you wish to find out whether the one you're using does, click Here.

Even if you are using a so called "safe" program,it's only the program that's safe.
You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are often infected.
The bad guys use filesharing programs as a major source to spread their crap.

I suggest you uninstall it/them,wether you do or not thats entirely up to you, you've been warned.

I'm awaiting further instructions if necesarry.
Thanks for the warning about the filesharing programs, utorrent azureus and soulseek are on the safe list and I use this computer for not much more than gaming and downloading movies and music, got a differnt one at the office where I don't use these programs. I started having virusses after a bad keygen from one of those crack-serial-keygen sites. I won't be going there again even though I did get the cd key I needed it wasn't worth it.
What antivirus and antispyware do you reccommend, should I stick with NOD32, registry mechanic, internet sweeper, Hitman pro and use mozilla as a browser?

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting 'Fix checked'.
Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing:
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

Your log is clean
If all's ok,please do the following:

Please download OTMoveIt by OldTimer:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/oldtimer/OTMoveIt.exe
Save it to your desktop.
Please double-click OTMoveIt.exe to run it.
Click on the 'Cleanup' button Posted Image
When you do this a text file named cleanup.txt will be downloaded from the internet.
If you get a warning from your firewall or other security programs regarding OTMoveIt attempting to contact the internet you should allow it to do so.
When the 'Confirm' box appears click 'Yes'.
Restart your pc when prompted.

Click on Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
In the 'System Restore' window, click on the 'Create a Restore Point' button, then click 'Next'.
In the window that appears, enter a description\name for the Restore Point, then click on 'Create',wait, then click 'Close'.
The date and time will be created automatically.

Next click on Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup.
The 'Select Drive' box will appear, click on Ok.

At the bottom in the 'System Restore' window, click on the 'Clean up...' button.
A box will pop up 'Are you sure you want to delete all but the most recent restore point?',click on 'Yes'.
Click on 'Yes' at 'Are you sure you want to perform these actions?'.
Now wait until 'Disk Cleanup' finishes and the box disappears.

thank you very much. I'll do those things right now.
edit: I cleand the previous system restores points and have the new one saved. Computer start up is much faster now.
I got one more question if that's ok, there are 2 files on my desktop that I can't remove.
They are called:
CA2JEBU5.
and
CAKTQZ4H.
When I try to remove or rename them I get the error message:
Can't remove file. Can't read data of source file or source disk. Rigth click on them and watching properties they are 0 kb, it's like they don't exist.

I've got these 2 mysterious files for 2 years now and although I don't think they do anything wrong, I'm curious what they are.
Here's a screenshot.

Do I delete combofix now or leave it on the desktop?

Try deleting them using the 'DelinvFile' utility.
Download/unzip/install DelinvFile:
http://www.purgeie.com/dl/delinvfile.zip
Once installed,launch the program.
Navigate to and try deleting those two files.

Yes,delete Combofix now.
