A friend of mine is in a bad way, and needs to be hospitalized for a while. He has a website, and asked me if I would Moderate his forum for a few weeks. I would like to help him, but I have no clue how to do that. I understand what the duties of a moderator are.
But I don't know how to delete, or move posts or do any of those things. Is there a tutorial or something? Or some one who could help me out? Otherwise I have to tell him no.

Moderators, if you need to move this, please tell me where you moved it to, thanks.

You would need the password to the administrative pages for starters, and a link to the support forum of whatever type of forum software he is using.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

LOL. I still don't understand. I started this thread in "Web Site Development" It was moved from there to "All other Applications". I don't get it.

And my friend wants me to Mod. his website. Is he asking for trouble, or what.
