I have run all the programs suggested by you before sending in a hijack this log, vundofix, virtumondebegone, adaware, spybot s and d, trend antivirus, and mcafee stinger. Norton no longer picks up a virus when I scan, but I still get popups from internet explorer for winantivirus and other products. Occasionally Norton picks up a file called bobik1 or bobik2 in the temporary internet files. Trend picked up two files that it could not quarantine or remove, but had no suggestions on how to remove manually. Both were malware called Troj_VundoQJ. They were located under WINDOWS\system32\biixcpu.dll and WINDOWS\system32\bwtcltip.dll. Any help would be appreciated. Below is my hijack file.

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum restlessone
My name is Richie and i'll be helping you to fix your problems.

Viewpoint Manager is considered as foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything "bad".
This changed in 2006,read this article:
http://www.clickz.com/news/article.php/3561546

You are well advised to remove the program now.
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present, then restart your pc:
Viewpoint
Viewpoint Manager
Viewpoint Media Player

Your version of Sun Java is out of date.
Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.
Please follow these steps to remove older versions of Sun Java, and then update.
1. Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
2. Scroll down to where it says 'Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 update 3'.
3. Click the "Download" button to the right.
4. Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
5. The page will refresh.
6. Click on the link to download 'Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language' and save to your desktop.
7. Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
8. Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
9. Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
10. Click the Change/Remove button.
11. Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java version.
12. Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
13. Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u3-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

If you have previously downloaded ComboFix,please delete that version now.
Now download Combofix and save to your desktop:
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt unless I ask.

Now go to:
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe
Right click on Hijackthis.exe and select 'Rename', rename it to abc.bat
Double click on abc.bat(which is still Hijackthis.exe),post that log into your next reply please.

Hey there. Thanks for the help. I did everything you said, so now I am posting the results. While running ComboFix, spybot continually asked me if I wanted to allow certain changes, so I hope it popping up did not create any snags in the combofix file.

Here is the Combofix file that was created.

I haven't had a chance to see if internet explorer still has any popups, but here are the two files you wanted to see. Thanks for the help. It's must appreciated.

Copy and paste ALL the following text in the Quote box below into Notepad.
Click on File(in the menu at the top)>Save as../Save as Type: 'All Files' /File name: CFScript to your desktop.

File::
C:\install.dat
Folder::
C:\WINDOWS\system32\GB9
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DL1
C:\Temp
C:\VundoFix Backups
C:\Program Files\Viewpoint

Now drag then drop the CFScript file onto ComboFix.exe as seen in the image below.

This will start ComboFix again.
After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply along with a new HijackThis log.

Here is the new ComboFix log that was printed. When I dropped the CFScript notepad into the ComboFix program (before the scan) I initially had a message pop up saying "instruction at '0x7c9111de' referenced memory at '0x00200064.' The memory could not be 'read.' Click OK to terminate" At which point I clicked OK. I am not sure if this relates to a particular virus or if some other problem has occured, but thought I should let you know that this popped up.

Please disable Spybot S&D’s protection,or it will interfere.
You can enable it after you're clean.
Open Spybot and click on 'Mode' and check 'Advanced Mode'.
Click on 'Tools' in bottom left hand corner.
Click on the 'System Startup' icon.
Uncheck 'Teatimer' box and/or uncheck 'Resident'.
Click the 'Allow Change' box.
Then, check next to the computer clock to see if the icon for Spybot is still there.
If it is, right click it and choose 'exit Spybot-S&D Resident'.
Restart the computer.
If you find you're experiencing problems disabling Spybot's Tea-Timer,follow the info in the link below:
http://www.russelltexas.com/malware/teatimer.htm

Download\install 'SuperAntiSpyware Home Edition Free Version' from here:

My computer seems to be running much better and faster than before. Internet Explorer hasn't tried to log on without being prompted to and I haven't been getting random popups. Also, this is the first I have been able to really use Explorer without many problems. I did have a little trouble with F-secure. Three times, it went through the whole scan and when it came time to clean the viruses there was an error on the page so I wasn't able to get the report. It did pick up 63 viruses each time. The most it ever got through when cleaning before logging out was 12. Below is my SuperAnitSpyware log.

I will try to run F-secure again and see if I can get it to work once it gets to the cleaning stages. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
• The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
• Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
• Now click on Scan Settings
• In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
• Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
• Standard
• Scan Options:
• Scan Archives
• Scan Mail Bases
• Click OK
• Now under select a target to scan:
• Select My Computer
• This will start the program and scan your system.
• The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
• Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
• Now click on the Save as Text button:
• Save the file to your desktop.
Copy and paste the contents of that file into your next reply.

Download\unzip to your desktop AVG Anti-Rootkit:
http://free.grisoft.com/softw/70free/setup...up-1.1.0.42.exe
Launch AVG,click on the 'Search for Rootkits' tab.

Delete the entire contents of these Quarantine folders:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\Quarantine
C:\Documents and Settings\Jake\.housecall6.6\Quarantine

Find and delete:
C:\Documents and Settings\Jake\Desktop\Lime Wire Downloads\Rare Recording.wma

Click on Start/Run,type cleanmgr into the 'Open:' space, then press Ok.
Let it scan your system for files to remove.
Make sure these 3 are checked and nothing else, then press Ok.
* Temporary Files
* Temporary Internet Files
* Recycle Bin

Your log is clean
If all's ok,please do the following:
