After removal of malware using directions from another forum on this site, it was recommended to keep my windows up to date by using the update links. I have been upable to access the update website, it just hangs and I end up having to use task manager to kill the process. Is there anything I can do to get the capability back?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and if found a couple of things it could not explain so I sent a copy of the log file to the support folks and am still waiting to hear back from them.
