I have an ancient MECER T1100 notebook. Windows98.
The notebook is stuck in SLEEP/HIBERNATE mode.
Is there any way I can bypass this function?
I have tried every single key-stroke combination.
Power off/on didn't help. Battery removal didn't help.
Switching on with CD in drive didn't help.
Can anyone assist me in this?

When you power off and on, do you hear a post beep, see the BIOS screen, or anything similar? Any indication that it is powered up and on? What I'm trying to say is what indications are there to say it's in hibernation and not just dead?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
