Dont know if this is the right forum for that or not...

The headphone of my current iPod is broken, and since its still within the warrantee time, I want to take it back. The place I got it from (Costco) is too lazy to do any warantee stuff like replace headphone, they'll only refund. So I need a new iPod... Most of the stuff on my iPod dont even exist on my computer anymore... And if I just drag the folder out they'll all be in some weird file name and I cant really just dump them all back into the new iPod.

Here's an article on how to backup your iPod: http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/patterson/6

The guys at work tell customers to sync it to their PC - then sync it back from the PC when the iPod returns from service. Dunno if it works tho' as I'd don't know a whole bunch about iPods.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
