I hope this site will be helpful to me. I have been using computers for work (library) and fun (genealogy) since DOS 1.
I learned the hard way many things. Also had the computer support of my hubby who was computer guru for his work.
He is now in Heaven 11+ years and things have sure gotten complicated.
I try to find solutions using sites and forums as some tech support is slow and even erroneous.
I help my 80 yr old neighbor and young godson.
I am still on Xp until I get my new computer next spring when extended warranty runs out.

Hi patricci, to Bleeping Computer.

Please check out the New User Orientation section to help get familiarized with how the board works.

There is also a really good Tutorials section that has lots of useful information.

Again, Welcome to Bleeping Computer, a friendly user community. We hope your stay here is enjoyable.

I think you will find the help you get here much easier to understand than perhaps elsewhere, and our Members are more than willing to provide answers to your questions.
