Hello folks, make room for another newbie?

I found this site while browsing a trade journal and used it to help me identify junk I could remove from my brand new Vista-equipped Dell Inspiron 531. I then browsed the site and liked what I saw so I've decided to join. I consider myself 'decently knowledgible' when it comes to computers but I guess my questions here will be the true judge of how 'decent' I really am.

Looking forward to leaning alot.

Welcome to BC!
Computing is so complicated that almost everyone needs help now and again; you can help others in areas in which you have expertise and other users can, in turn, help you when you need assistance.
Regards,
John
