I have two questions about nero please help me

1) Few days ago i downloaded the new overweight 8.1.1.0b from it's web site but when i tried to install i got error message extraction failed, file is corrupt . i downloaded it for 3/4 times but it didn't install due to same reason. i formatted my system(for some other reason) and tried to install a fereshly downloaded copy but the result was same finally after trying so many times it got extracted 100% but during installation it showed a file called 5C42CDB5.cab is missing so it could not complete the installation. So i tried to install my old nero 7 version but it also didn't got installed for same reason. Now i have installed the nero Nero 6.0.0.9 but whenever i try to open it says this version of nero is incompatible with this version of xp.Please suggest me what to do.Is there any good alternative to nero.i have no problem in writing CD with other softwares but i wiss miss nero showtime which comes with nero 7 it is really the best player to watch movies i don't want to miss showtime.I just missed to say i am trying to install new itune or last few days but it is also not installing for some cab file error.

2)the second thing i wanted to know is what is the best speed to write softwares or progamms those are installed in computer so that they can be installed properly.Do any one know in which speed the origional xp and vista cds are written by microsoft(just want to know for g.k thing)

Any help will be appriciated.thank you.

I use xp pro(sp2)

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
