when i click start.........run....... and type msconfig to see what my startup items are i get an error message that says " Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Make sure you typed the name correctly,and try again"

what does this mean? and how do i fix it? thanks in advance :thumbsup:

If you have an original WINDOWS XP CD then you could try the repair feature which will repair any damaged files in WINDOWS XP. Useful for when something in windows goes funny. this will not hrlp any non windows or updated features of windows though. Only what that disc had installed.

You can wait for any other opionons from others if you like before trying this.
