I am asking for advice on behalf of a friend, who is with Aol broadband. They cannot connect to the internet, they are using a BT Voyager 105 modem through a bt line. Which is used only for the internet and no phone is used. Have checked that the phone line is working correctly and it is. All wires usually run off a extension lead, but we moved all cables to do with the modem etc straight to a main socket, and still could not connect to the internet.
