Hi all,

Before posting this topic I went around the topic and followed some of the instructions given to other but the problem continued. I recently installed adobe premier 6.0, a video editing program on my computer but once started up the an error message appears that says:

Adobe premier has generated an error and will now be close.

And once I clicked on ok, the program will be close down.

My system info are:

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Park 2

Packard Bell
Packard Bell Computer
AMD Athlom™ XP 3000+
2 16 GHz, 512 MB RAM

And so far I've done the following:

I ran a full virus scan with Norton Antivirus and it found one tracking
cookie which it fixed.

I ran a full scan with spybot and it fixed all the found problems.

I ran a full scan with ad-aware and if fixed all the problems found.

However when I ran a full scan with the RegistrySmart it could not scan
one location called File Associations, it scanned and fixed everything
else but whenever it gets to this location it generates the same error
that says:

RegistrySmart has generated an error and would be closed.

Do you know what else I should do?

Thanks in advance

Did you try reinstalling the program. That usually fixes problems like this.
Gateway GM5076e, Pentium D CPU 3.20GHZ, 2.1GB of RAM, 465GB SATA HDD, NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache™
256MB, Windows XP Media Center SP2, Mozilla Firefox, McAfee Security Center, AdAwareSE, F-Secure Blacklight, A-squared Free.
