Usually this forum is a continuous list of bad news and fresh malware attacks, so I thought a bit of good news here was in order.

"Assistant attorney general Alice S. Fisher of the criminal division and interim U.S. attorney Dan G. Knauss of the District of Arizona said that Jeffrey A. Kilbride, 41, of Venice, Calif., and James R. Schaffer, 41, of Paradise Valley, Ariz., had been sentenced to 72 months and 63 months in prison, respectively, for running an international pornographic spam ring that took in over $1 million.

See the InformationWeek about the first prosecution underf the CanSpamAct here:

Cheers,
John

If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way." - Bertrand Russell

I didn't manage to check the date, it in fact says:

October 15, 2007 03:35 PM

Maybe jgweed is stuck a year in the past! lol

But... anyway, it' worth the bump!

Ah, if only news like that happened everyday, that'd be a true blessing
