Hi can anyone help. Every time i turn on my pc I get a message telling me I have files waiting to be written to cd. When i try to write them or delete them I get a message saying can not copy/delete PIHook.dll make sure it is not write protected or in use. Dont know what this is or how to get rid please help as it is rather anoying. I am using windows XP home edition service pack2 Pentium 4 3 ghz with 1gb ram

Hey Reg
It appears that PIHook.dll is part of a program called ArcSoft PhotoImpression. I suspect you have this program installed on your computer? If you do have this program on your computer I would recommend you uninstall it and reinstall it, providing you still want it.
If you choose to take my advice make sure to move any personal files, pictures, graphics,.. to your My Pictures folder so they are not lost. Just make a folder called ArcSofe and transfer them over.
