Several days ago, my video began to really go cray, with radical geometric patterns, squiggly lines, or what I think of as interference. It happened occasionaly and i discovered if I apply pressure at the fore of my laptop (IBM T30), it will temporarily stop. This went on for two days when added to this, the system began to hang. At first the hangs were several minutes apart; now they are every twenty seconds or so. I've gone to IBM's Support site and also to Lenovo's and have followed to a letter all their steps that are meant to put this to an end, but no. Lenovo even downloaded a diagnostic tool that checked memory but that proved unnecessary. Every other test they ran came up without alieviating these problems. What it means to me is that to write a regular email takes anywhere from a half hour to an hour, and I'm not one for going on and on. Any help will sure be appreciated. Thanks even for simply reading this. Best, Jane

Actually, there was a missing screw from the back of the notebook but that was replaced a couple days ago, though perhaps not with the correct one...

...hmm, I just realized that where the pressure is applied is almost exactly where the screw was missing...
