Good afternoon. First off, thank you for having a look at my post! My computer is infected with a malware, and I am absolutely sure it is hidden vry good on my start up registry. I have spent quite some time on your site, reading and educating myself. I have tried XoftSpySE, RegCure, Spybot. I currently have Norton AntiVirus (the latest). I first noticed the problem when my control panel went missing. I would get my controlpanel back but was anable to use a few of the icons in it.. IE Add/Remove , display etc. After rebooting it would disappear, I'd scan with all my spy programs, anti viruses, and I was always coming across files that were corrupt. Every now and then I am also getting a pop up by a "Windows Security alert" WARNING! Potential Spyware Operation. Your computer is making unauthorized copies of your system and Internet files. Run Full scan to prevent any unauthorised access to your files. Click YES to download spyware remover...... I always say NO! I recall reading something on this site about the potential problem being from svchost.exe file, but I am not 100% sure...

I went ahead with hijack this, and here is my log. Thank you kindly for any help you can give me!!!! This site is brilliant!!!!! Also just one more question... if you are able to help me solve this, how would I get my control panel found working again?

Hi folks... I just wanted to post that I think my computer is fixed... KNOCK ON WOOD! I haven't had that pop up at all today, and my control panel is back and working fine... so obviously the combo fix did something!!

Thank you so much I appreciate it. Will make a donation on pay day... your site is wonderful!
