Windows XP Media Center Edition

I update and scan regularly with the line of AVG applications (AVG Anti-Virus Free, AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5, and AVG Anti-Rootkit). While scanning with Anti-Virus, it detected a "Trojan Downloader." I quickly removed it successfully. I then proceeded to scan with AVG Anti-Rookit and found a "Hidden Driver File" (under the name of "ahrmpxlv.SYS"). Located in WINDOWS\System3\Drivers\file. I followed to instructions to remove it which led to a restart on my computer. However, when I loaded up Windows, at the welcome screen, the into tune played but the screen didn't change to my desktop. I figured it took a bit longer because of the rootkit removal. However it stayed idle. Only if you hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE does it go to the desktop. A popup says that the rootkit was removed successfully. When I scanned again it was back but a different file name. I've scanned during safe mode and with system restore off. It just wont go away.

Also, when i scan with Anti-Virus it detects a file named"host," which is located in WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts.

Anyway, here is my HiJack This log:

Hi,

Sorry for delay.
If you still need help. please post fresh hijackthis log here.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\antiwpa.dll (have any idea why this is on your system?)
http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/trojantiwpaa.html
Troj/Antiwpa-A modifies system files in an attempt to disable Windows product activation.

That hidden driver file I am near certain is from Daemon tools. (to work around anti-piracy tools)

"Hosts"...
You have or use Spybot's Hosts file?
Or another hosts file such as MVPHosts?

Thanks
I'll have an order of massive trojan attack please with a side order of rootkit and virus dip.
Pre-course order of fresh spyware salad please with a side order of polymorphic dressing.
And to drink...a nice tall glass of adware!

For dessert; can I have a bowl of the freshest worms you have please?.

Never Give Up!
