Hi. First, thanks for your help in the past. It is greatly appreciated.

My browser (Firefox) is behaving very sluggishly. I'll try to scroll down, and there is usually a 4-5 second delay before the page moves. Sometimes it's OK, but the delay happens about 75% of the time. As you can see below, I update, scan, clean & defrag regularly, and I'm absolutely stumped. I don't know is this is a HijackThis issue, but when the browser is sluggish, this seemed like the correct place to start.

System Specs...

*Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 - New Dell Dimension 8400 PC. (1GHz RAM, 160GB HD, 256 MB nVidia video card - just in case you need the info.)

*McAfee VirusScan – auto updates

*2Wire Wireless Home Portal firewall

*I use the most updated versions of
1. Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta (auto updates & scan every day)
2. Spybot S&D (I check for definition updates & scan 2x-3x a week)
3. AdAware SE (I check for definition updates & scan 2x-3x a week) &
4. Spyware Blaster (I check for updates 2x-3x a week).

*I use Disk Cleanup & empty my temp file every day.

*I defrag my hard drive 1x - 2x a month.

*I've tried to delete all the bloatware from my startup menu, using msconfig.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Uninstall the myway search bar.

You can also turn these off from startup up automatically:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DwlClient] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Dell\EUSW\Support.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IAAnotif] C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Application Accelerator\iaanotif.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdateManager] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sonic\Update Manager\sgtray.exe" /r
