Uhm, hi.

I'm Skriptkitty, more commonly known as Aka. I'm a college student as of four days ago and I would like to consider myself an artist.
I enjoy computer based art more than anything. There's just something awesome about being able to hit "Ctrl+Z" and never have to touch eraser to paper. That's probably because, unlike most artists, I am lazy. I do art for myself, rather than other people. I will probably be unable to hold a steady career in this field. Because of this, I decided to go in an entirely different direction and study computers. Why? Because I'm spontaneous.

My spontaneity has resulted in many things: Taking Chinese classes, starting a comic book, deciding to have an online gallery, making many friends, having strange fashion sense and of course studying computers instead of painting portraits (which, by the way, I cannot do). These things are part of who I am and I'm sticking with them.

A few notes on me:
-I tend to be very formal when I first start out in a community. Trust me, I'm not a formal person- it's nervousness.
-I have bad Internet based habits such as "lol"ing, nonsensical statements and the occurrence of the *action* asterisk. Forgive me.
-I split up the paragraph's in my post by thought process. This results in long posts at times.
-I use emoticons that most people don't get. Most commonly :3 the kitty smile. Yay kitties.
-Half the time I sound like an adult, half the time I sound like a kid. Hmph- go figure.
-I am a n00b- and I am not ashamed...
-In reality, I am a loud person. I use ALLCAPS a lot to make a point. FORGIVE ME PLEASE.

I think that's it.

"I hate computers, this is why I decided to pursue a major in Computer Sciences. Twisted huh?"

Exploration of many areas is always liberating and mentally expanding, even if you never earn a penny from it. And don't be nervous around HERE, since our Members are very friendly and outgoing. Some of us will even overlook your penchant for smilies (LOL).
