Hi All !

Just as the subject says... I would like to know which is the best available antivirus for my widows vista. I use a HP tablet laptop. I had removed Norton as I know it slows down the computer. I had loaded Avast but was not sure it was the best. And still confused at the moment I am using Kaspersky which I purchased. I want to know which is the best (free or if I will have to pay for) and which will not slow down my computer as I use a dial up connection.

Best Wishes,

Dilkhush

According to this review, BitDefender is the best with Kaspersky second. However, if you read other reviews they will have a different ranking. This is because different people have different criteria for evaluation. Basically, there is no one answer for the question: What is the best Anti-virus.

If you have already paid for Kaspersky I would stick with that.

NOD32's spyware protection, though not yet on a par with its antivirus capability...is a good choice if you want one tool to provide your antivirus and primary antispyware protection.

Tony Kline uses Nod 32 and that's a very good testimonial given his expertise on malware cures and prevention.
