I did some research on-line, but I can't find anywhere how to uninstall this program.

It doesn't seem to have come with an uninstall

and I can find it in the add/remove programs!!

but I do have files relating to this. It was never uninstalled

I have the following files:

c:\program files\texter (folder called "bank")
c:\program files\Texter (folder called "replacements"
c:\documents and settings\owner\desktop (logo and words: "Texter Installer 0.3.exe")
c:\programs files\Texter (texter.ini and a picture that looks like a notebook and a little orange thing?)

I have xp, updated, no viruses, etc.

thanks!

Do you have an item in the Start Menu for this program? Does it have an uninstaller there?
It's only at v0.5 now, so it's still in beta and won't be "mature" until it reaches v1.0
Have you tried running the installer to see if it provides an uninstaller?

Are there any files that end in .exe in the folders that you've described above? If so, what are they?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

nothing in the start menu
no uninstaller!

I downloaded it again and just uninstalled all the "bits and pieces" of it
so I hope that was ok!

there was an exe folder; but I don't remember what it said now......

I think it's all gone..........I guess it's not like one of those programs that you NEED ? an uninstaller for
I just hope I got rid of everything

thanks!
