I was infected with this trojan, and i did a reformat of the drive after realising it. However, after reformating, the virus is still around after scanning with Norton Antivirus 2002.

Any idea how to get rid of it?

Any help appreciated. thanks.

It was a full format. My hdd is of 250gb, with few patitions and c:\ as 25gb. reformated c:\, and left the rest intact.
The visible symptom is that once i double click on D:\, instead of showing on the same screen (same as "My computer") it open as one new window.

Did Vundofix, found nothing. I had a updated copy of norton antivirus 2002, shown this virus but cannot remove. Will try the Superantispyware now.

Thanks.

I am new to this, so bear with my lack of posting knowledge. I service schools. One of my teachers has the infoseeker on a PC. She has some tech saavy but I was wondering if there was some plain instructions on how to remove the virus. I don't know if she would know what to do with logs.
