How do you format a disc in XP? In Tuturials, there is the answer for Win95/98/ME/2000, but, I have XP!

Hiya,

When you say disc, do you mean a 3 1/2 floppy, or an actual HDD. ?

Tony.

Hiya,

Cd's are already formatted for use on your computer, XP on its own will not format a CD.

There is a program produced by Microsoft, called HighMat extention to Microsoft Windows Xp CD writing wizard that will format a disc, to enable it to do certain functions, as will some other propriotary produced software programs.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Tony.
