My Envision computer screen occasionally blinks purple instead of clear white for some reason, but does return to normal after a few seconds. However it comes back and it also slowly turns purple, and then starts blink purple in certain areas. Can anyone fix this problem? I would appreciate the help.

And I am sorry if I am in the wrong area too.

Hi AFei, It may be`your monitor is failing. A few things to try...
Update your video drivers... see How to update a Windows hardware driver
Check all connections and video card seating.
Try to borrow a monitor and hook it up, this should prove its a monitor or a video card problem
Make sure there are no magnetic devices (eg. speakers) in close`proximity of the monitor
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

What kind of monitor is this, CRT or LCD?

If this an LCD monitor, subject to which video card / manufacturer you are using, it should have an option to enable you to adjust the colour filters. This is certainly worth a try.
