when opening the Help and Support Center in WinXP Pro SP2, some of the entries come up in some other language. It's not all of them; in fact, some of them are a mix of whatever this other language is and english... it's weird. Has anyone encountered this? Is there a fix?

It should also be noted that this issue has been reported by users whose machines have been "imaged". Therefore this is not an actual XP install from disc.

This Microsoft article describes a problem where users with Slovak or Slovenian Language Interface Pack for Windows XP have some random English showing up in the Help and Support centre. While it's not the exact problem you are having you could try the fixes suggested.

Thanks Budapest. I DLed the patches that M$ recommended and I'm sure that if I was using a Slovak or Slovenian interface, I would no longer be seeing English. Unfortunately, there's no hotfix for English and I'mn still seeing this unidentified language.

On the plus side, our image developer thinks he may have it fixed in the new image... so I guess that's that...lol.

Thanks again
