Hi, I'm trying to setup a Bluetooth ActiveSync connection with my iPAQ Pocket PC.

I can successfully connect to my desktop via a USB cable.

however, now i want to connect via bluetooth.

i've been following this guide:
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?ContentId=2149

However, when I get to the part where i need to setup the connection on my PDA, when i get to the screen where i select my computer, i get this error:

"Service Discovery was unsuccessful
The requested service is not running on this device. Please make sure the service is enabled on the device, or select another one to continue".
The PDA can see the computer, but it just can't "find the service"

My computer can view the PPC & its contents no problem via the XTND BlueManager software.

I'm positive I've followed the steps in the guide correctly up to this point.

So can anyone help me w/ this? I'm pretty stumped.

thxs.

i get stuck when i get to this step:

"ActiveSync is using COM7, but is it started? On your computer, open the Bluetooth configuration, change to Local Services and make sure the Serial Service is set to Auto."

where do i go in the mentioned "bluetooth config"?
