I woke up this morning and my computer will not recognize anything I plug into the USB ports (any of the six). Therefore, I have to get on a different computer to access the wireless net since I had a USB adapter for the net for my desktop.

The computer is an E-machines T2682 with Windows XP SP2.

I scanned for viruses with AVG and nothing turned up.

What were you doing prior to the usb ports not working? Did you install/uninstall software?
If all else fails, hit the reset button.
