Hi All,

great forums btw

okay, i run windows xp home edition, certified copy, but it korean winxp, because i live in korea, and that is what was on the computer i bought, which actually serves my purpose, in many ways, it is good to have korean windows, it makes opening a lot of the files that i receive, which are korean files, easier,

but, i do like to have some english stuff,

i want to upgrade to the newer media player, but, i want the english version,

what happens, whenvever i download a lot of things, is, that it automatically gives me the default korean version of the download, i guess windows recognizes the language of the os system and gives you that download, but, i don't know how to get an english version,

my korean is pretty good, so i do navigate around looking for other sites to download from

any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong??

I don't know from what site you are downloading WMP, but you might look around there for links to localised versions and do a manual download.
