When I try to uninstall AVG 7 I get:
Installation failed!

Installer initialization failed due to following error:
Error: Initialization of the language file "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG7" failed.
General failure.

When I reboot I get:
Cannot create instance of AVG 7 Kernel, err=0x80040154

And in Outlook:
The Add-in "AVG Exchange Extension" (C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgxch32.dll) cannot be loaded and has

been desabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is

available, please uninstall the Add-in.

>>>Is there another method to uninstall?

Can AVG be removed using HijackThis?

Is this the free AVG Antivirus? If so, see below.

Navigate to the AVG installation folder: The default path is C:\program files\grisoft\avg free

Locate and run the setup.exe file. One of the options will be to uninstall AVG. Select that and make sure you check 'remove all user settings'.

If the folder doesn't exist, download the latest AVG package and run it and select Uninstall from the setup wizard.

If the above doesn't work, you may have to do a manual uninstall. See the last post in the link below for doing that.
