Sharing with Windows XP Pro

Can someone out there tell me how to share folders between computers in windows xp pro, using password protection to connect to the source computer.

Create two user accounts. One account on one machine and another account on the other. Make them the same username or (Ex: Bob) but give them different passwords. If you give them the same password then Windows won't prompt you for a password.

the problem is that since at the office we are on a network, once is share a folder it is readily available for all staff to see, and i don't want this to happen.
