Is there a good free way to change my Windows XP theme to something more jazzy than the standard Blue/Poo Green/Silver/ or classic style.
Anyone feel free to help.

It's OK now i have got one.

"Style XP" it was only $19.99 and you can get heaps of free themes, bootscreens and even log on screens. this "StyleXP" works on SP2.

There is one called "StarSkin" i don't know if its free or what but sure to work with XP. SP2 not sure either.

hi, i dont know how oldthis topic is, but i am new here. I dont know if any one knows but there is an altered .dll somewhere out there (just google for it), and it gives you loads and loads of new themes and styles without having to install any unwanted rubbish. just replace the current theme .dll in your windows folder and then it's all fine. I have used the trial version of styleXP and didn't like it much, so someone mentioned this to me and it sememed so easy

i just leave it normal windows XP style as there is never any trouble and keeps the computer running ok.

i know everything we use like style xp and other applications like windows longhorn transformation pack is all used by our own risk and i think perosnally a good thing to experiment to see what works and what doesn't but read all informaion about it first to find bugs, problems etc. Style XP and windows blinds i wasn't keen on and i know i wasted $20 for Style XP i should have trial version first but hey it was only $20.
good luck for anyone trying things out
