I have CCleaner but I have not used the registry cleaner and don't intend to use it. A registry cleaner can really screw up your system if you do the wrong thing. I just use CCleaner to automatically clean out my Cookies.

The registry cleaner is a dangerous tool (I broke an internet connection today doing that!

If you absolutely insist upon it - the best thing is to:
1) Backup the registry
2) Learn how to restore it if Windows won't boot for you.

The biggest issue is in knowing what can be safely removed and what can't be safely removed. CCleaner selects all of the issues automatically, so if you take it's word you'll delete everything that it finds. What if it's wrong?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
