Hi guys
I am running 1 gb of ram and an AMD Sempron 3000+ (socket A) at 1.99 ghtz. I am currently on an AGP GeForce 6200. Needless to say, this is a budget computer. I've upgraded the video card about 3 times (within low end cards), and each time I've gotten a huge performance boost. Now I'd like to upgrade the video card one last time, to a GeForce 7600GT. It would be AGP because my board is old. Is my cheapo CPU going to bottleneck this card? Got any suggestions on a good AGP card that won't be bottlenecked by my CPU?

I'd say a 7600GT is a good buy. It will be CPU limited in some CPU intensive games, but it should let game what your CPU can handle without having a lot of extra potential to waste.

Thanks- in that case I'll gor for it. By the way, I have a 300 watt PSU that I got OEM. If it isn't powerful enough, can I damage anything?

Due to the smaller manufacturing process a 7600GT eats about as much power as a 6200 so you should have nothing to worry about.
