Hello!

A few days ago I got a message from a friend on the MSN messenger. He "sent" me a .zip file containig pictures. I have unzipped it with WINRAR. Actually, nothing happened except that my friend never sent me any pictures.....
After having unzipped the file, my MSN started to send the same .zip file to all my contacts... another friend got infected...
I have disinstalled MSN from my computer.
I have scanned the computer with symantec that found a suspected file and eliminated it (something like wscsvc.exe). After that, the computer started to send e-mails from my account (I use Incredimail) to addresses I have never seen.... and the symantec program kept popping out the following message: the mail could not be sent because the server did not authorize it..... or something similar....
Basically everytime I connect my computer to the internet it starts sending e-mails to these strange addesses and I get 200 windows of symantec open.....
I have followed the procedure you advice at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/ and scanned the computer....

and now I would like to know if the virus is still here...

Good news is that I don't get the symantec windows that pop anymore.... but I don't know if the virus is still in my PC....

Thank you very much for your help!!!

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum manumanu
My name is Richie and i'll be helping you to fix your problems.

Download SDFix.exe and save it to your desktop:
http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe

* Double click on SDFix on your desktop, and install the fix to C:\

Please then reboot your computer into Safe Mode by doing the following:

* Restart your computer
* After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
* Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
* Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
* Choose your usual account.

* In Safe Mode,go to and open the C:\SDFix folder, then double click on RunThis.bat to start the script.
* Type Y to begin the script.
* It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
* Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
* Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool will be running and removing files.
* When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and display Finished, then press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
* Finally open the SDFix folder on your desktop and copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt into your next reply.

If you have previously downloaded ComboFix,please delete that version and download it again from below.
Download Combofix and save to your desktop:
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Double click on Combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt unless I ask.

Also post a new Hijackthis log please.

Hi Richie,

thank you very much for your fast reply....

I have a problem:
I have downloaded SDfix, saved it on my desktop and installed it to C.
However, when I reboot my computer in safe mode my computer does not recognize my username and password so I cannot
restart windows in safe mode and I have to reboot in normal mode.....

What can I do?

I am not the only user in this computer there is another ID called administrator. Do yoou think I am not allowed to run window in safe mode?

Thanks a lot...

Please disable Spybot S&D’s protection,or it will interfere.
You can enable it after you're clean.
Open Spybot and click on 'Mode' and check 'Advanced Mode'.
Click on 'Tools' in bottom left hand corner.
Click on the 'System Startup' icon.
Uncheck 'Teatimer' box and/or uncheck 'Resident'.
Click the 'Allow Change' box.
Then, check next to the computer clock to see if the icon for Spybot is still there.
If it is, right click it and choose 'exit Spybot-S&D Resident'.
Reboot the computer.

If you find you're experiencing problems disabling Spybot's Tea-Timer,follow the info in the link below:

@echo off
sc stop rf6pau7yuauzua
sc delete rf6pau7yuauzua

Restart your pc.

You're running P2P filesharing programmes.
Many of these programmes come bundled with unwanted components.
If you wish to find out whether the one you're using does, click Here.

Even if you are using a so called "safe" P2P programme,it's only the programme that's safe.
You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are often infected.
The bad guys use P2P filesharing as a major conduit to spread their wares.
I suggest you uninstall them now.

Restart your pc.
Post a new Hijackthis log please.

Hello,

I have done the procedure that you asked....
Only 1 thing:

I could NOT find the following file in C:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\oiorymfnfdk.exe

I have copied it anyway to the OTMoveIt and this is the results I have got:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\oiorymfnfdk.exe moved successfully.

Created on 10-03-2007 11:10:24

then I have copied the text in the Quote box, saved it oon the desktop and save it as fix.bat... and run it

This issue has been caused by malware, and its removal.
Try System Restore if its enabled, and you have a restore point available for before you followed my last instructions.
If thats successful you'll need to post a new Hijackthis log.

Disable WinPatrol or it will interfere:
Right-click the running icon of Winpatrol in the system tray and choose exit.
It will automatically restart at next boot.

Download\install 'SuperAntiSpyware Home Edition Free Version' from here:
http://www.superantispyware.com/downloadfi...ANTISPYWAREFREE

Launch SuperAntiSpyware and click on 'Check for updates'.
Once the updates have been installed, exit SuperAntiSpyware.

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting 'Fix checked'.
Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [oiorymfnfdk] C:\WINDOWS\system32\oiorymfnfdk.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [oiorymfnfdk] C:\WINDOWS\system32\oiorymfnfdk.exe

Exit Hijackthis.

Find and delete:
SDFix.exe
fix.bat
Combofix.exe
OTMoveIt.exe

C:\SDFix
C:\QOOBOX
C:\_OTMoveIt

Start SuperAntiSpyware.
On the main screen click on 'Scan your computer'.
Check: 'Perform Complete Scan'.
Click 'Next' to start the scan.

Superantispyware will now scan your computer, when it's finished it will list all/any infections found.
Make sure everything found has a checkmark next to it,then press 'Next'.
Click on 'Finish' when you've done.

It's possible that the program will ask you to reboot in order to delete some files.

Obtain the SuperAntiSpyware log as follows:
Click on 'Preferences'.
Click on the 'Statistics/Logs' tab.
Under 'Scanner Logs' double click on 'SuperAntiSpyware Scan Log'.
It will then open in your default text editor, such as Notepad.
Copy and paste the contents of that report into your next reply.

Download\unzip to your desktop AVG Anti-Rootkit:
http://free.grisoft.com/softw/70free/setup...up-1.1.0.42.exe
Launch AVG,click on the 'Search for Rootkits' tab.
Then click on 'Perform in-depth search'.
When the scan has finished, right click on the scan results 'Save results'.
Copy and paste those results into your next reply.

Also post a new Hijackthis log.
