Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

Posted Image

______________________________

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter

Posted Image

This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a RiskTool; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between good and malicious use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Please post:
C:\rapport.txt

Hi

As I wrote in my previous post some av products detect process.exe as a RiskTool and Nod also removes the file. So, to make it work disable Nod temporarily first and do downloading after disabling. Don't switch Nod back on yet or it will delete process.exe again and Smitfraudfix fails.

Hi

Please download HostsXpert.
  • Unzip HostsXpert.zip
  • Double click on HostsXpert.exe
  • Then click on "Restore Original Hosts" to restore your Hosts file to its default condition.
  • Click on Make Hosts Read Only to secure it against further infection.
  • Close program when complete.
After that try running Smitfraudfix with option 1 again.

Hi

Could you try to do HostsXpert part in safe mode? If that doesn't work then upload your HOSTS file (under c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder) to http://rapidshare.com

Hi

Yes, that's what I was expecting to see

I assume you have Spybot installed. Let's clean those HOSTS entries Spybot added (you may restore those after cleaning operation is finished).

1. Start Spybot and ensure you have advanced mode selected (under mode in upper menu).
2. Click Tools in leftside panel
3. Ensure that Hosts file checkbox is checked. That should make Hosts File option appear in leftside panel. Now click on Hosts File option and select Remove Spybot-S&D hosts list (with red cross icon).

After that run Smitfraudfix with option 1 again.

If you don't have Spybot installed then navigate into C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc folder and open HOSTS into notepad. Delete all lines below following line:
# Start of entries inserted by Spybot - Search & Destroy

Then overwrite existing file and try running Smitfraudfix again.
