How can I make it work out that a user doens't have to enter a network password each time the restart their computer? I am having this issue on several machines all with different OS's.

Thanks!

Hi Most

With XP, go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts. You may need to reboot after you have made any changes.

I am not familiar with other OS, but I would imagine they have a similar system.

Cheers

Isn't the "network" password in BIOS?

I would have a few questions here. First, are the computer authenticating through a Domain Controller or RADIUS server?
Maybe they're authentincating with a router? If the first two are not occurring, and you only want to disable the Password requirement in the os; do this:

Start:Run:Control Panel: User Acounts

and change Logons and Passwords as necessary. this is similar in windows 2000 and varies a bit with Vista.

Still having the issues. Mainly when someone tries to access the shared drive. I get it to re-connect everytime I restart my computer (Windows 2000). I just need to know how to keep them on all the time, even after a restart.

Thanks
