hi, I am curently running windows xp. Recently my Norton Anti-virus 2007 keeps saying that it has blocked Trojan.Vundo. My Pc however seems to be running slower than usual and some of my programs like skype and Tune up utilities will not run, it just comes up with and error message. I think this is because I am infected but im not sure. Any help would be much apreciated

Use the Vundofix tool in the link below.

Follow up with the programs below.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

That is good to hear! You should rerun scans in a couple of days and if you haven't had a reason to suspect malware and the scans come up clean you should flush and reset your restore points as some of your "system Restore" points are infected. Info on how to do that, if you need it, is in the link below. You can also permanently delete the quarantined items and the Vundofix tool as it can't be updated without reinstalling the tool.

Read what Vundo is and how to avoid getting infected with it.
