No Sound When I Play Youtube Video

hi

i downloaded the latest adobe flashplayer...it playes the videos on youtube but i cant hear a thing...............please help

The audio codecs for these are all "mp3". I don't know why they wouldn't play. Are you having any other media player sound issues? Sometimes it helps to try a different browser. IE is best for compatibility.

There is also a setting in IE that will not play sounds in it. Do you get this situation in other webpages?

Just out of interest.... Surf here: http://secunia.com/software_inspector/

Click Start Now. Check the box under Start button, then hit Start. It will then scan.

Expand all of the results that are inspected as OUTDATED software, take a screenshot of them and upload that screenshot here

Might be nothing but I want to be sure your flash player is indeed updated. :huh:

Hello,

Make sure you uninstall the older versions of Java since there are security vulnerabilities within them.

Please check your IE settings .... Open IE -> Tools -> Security -> Trusted Sites -> Custom Level.

Scroll through the settings and make sure your Javascript is enabled in the browser.
