I am considering enrolling in an online study program. It specifies how to set up the computer and says that you must:

1. Accept browser cookies.
2. Enable Javascript on your web browser.
3. Set your browser to refresh at every page.
4. Not be behind a firewall that blocks cookies or blocks access to a secure server.

Just wondering what you pros think about that??? The firewall thing especially--would it be a problem? Would it just be a matter of having the right settings? Would it compromise security?

Any input appreciated. I'm not too knowledgable in these areas.
Thanks.

I think you should be good to go already with your current setup. I think you have your computer set up to do allow these already as they are not inherently harmful.
