Okay, I recently came across the Electric Sheep screen saver (http://www.electricsheep.org/) and figured I'd download it to give it a try. After installing it, it worked great. It showed up in the Display Properties Screen Saver tab and kicked in right when I set it to kick in.

I shut my computer down that night and I think that is when my problem began. Every time I walk away from my computer now, the screen saver fails to launch. I have tried switching screen savers to one of the default Microsoft ones, but it still wouldn't launch.

I really don't know where to begin with trying to fix this, other than trying to uninstall Electric Sheep, but I didn't want to do that until I was sure it was my final option.

Thanks for your help!

Hi spidey867.
"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" sci-fi book by Philip K. Dick.
Made into movie which was renamed "Bladerunner", starring Harrison Ford.
Also starring Rutger Hauer and a minor part played by Daryl Hannah (hot!).

You won't hurt anything by uninstalling it the installing it again.

If reinstalling it doesn't fix it, these might help.

#51 ScreenSaver Disable/Enable or Tab Missing (a script)
#128 (to the right side) Restore Desktop and Screensaver Tabs (reg file)
#227 (to the right side) Restore/Enable Screensaver Tab Settings/Display (reg file)
