Hey everyone, this is a Windows Vista Home Premium.

Recently, I obtained a legal version of Microsoft Office 2007 ; however, I'm unable to automatically open .ppt (PowerPoint files).

For example, when I download a Word document on Firefox, I have the option Open With Microsoft Word, but when I download a PowerPoint file, I have the option Open With Browse instead.

When I try and select a program from "a list of installed programs", PowerPoint is not on the list and I'm not sure which file to choose when I am given the option of browsing through my hard drive.

Thanks for your time!

Is Powerpoint listed on the Start...All Programs...Microsoft Office menu? If not, I'd suggest inserting your Office 2007 CD and modifying the installation to include it.

If it is there, then try and open something with it - does it work?

Since the option to open with Powerpoint doesn't seem to be available - it's likely that something is damaged within the installation. I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2007 to try and fix it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Yes, PowerPoint is listed and can open files on its own; I'll try the reinstall later when I have time and post the result here.

Thanks for helping me usama!
