I have a question about the Resolver Cache. When I clear the Rcache will I have to reconfigure these entries? Will ipconfig /flushDNS also clear all of the blocked urls?

I run this tool and it also helps you to view the vast majority of web pages ads free so makes like much easier than playing ads dodgems; if you have this on board, and you start to see ads it is probably a symptom of an infection

Please email the webmaster of the HOSTS file. You can find his contact address on his home page.

Try this one: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

and nor have I yet received any e mail notifications

I have no control over this as I do not issue the email notifications. Contact the webmaster via the HOSTS page.
