Hello, I have windows millennium and i deleted winnit exe. I had a friend who put another copy of millennium and now the other copy has windows files that have 000 after it. (two different copies) :flowers: So now i have two copies of windows and i dont know whitch ones two delete. I deleted one of the older windows file and now my computer does'nt go to the screen savor, it just improperly shuts off. :thumbsup:

Figures, you're a Steelers fan :thumbsup: Only kidding, couldn't help myself. Do you still have your friend's disk? Unless you have a bunch of files you need to save, I'd just do a FDISK and reformat, and fresh install. When the ME disk asks for the CD Key use yours. If you need a boot disk you can download one at bootdisk.com

why won't my laptop work?

http://fdisk.radified.com/ This is a very good tutorial. If it's a little confusing, give yourself some time and reread it. I was a little cautious the first time
