utorrent is the best one I've found out there. Its so much better than the actual bittorrent that you can download from the bittorrent site..

If you've got a router, do what the site says, and if it still doesn't say its forwarded correctly, but you're getting decent speeds, then DON'T MESS WITH IT... or thats what I've learned with mine. My router doesn't like being messed with with port forwarding...

µTorrent is definitely the best torrent program, hands down. It's very easy to use and works faster for me than any other client.

Another good p2p program that's easy to use is Ares, you can get ithere.

I was also interesting, as Brett, in finding a good torrent program. I have downloaded utorrent but the only problem is that my internet service has a content filter and seems to block almost all torrent sites- Oh course, most are swarming with porn. So I’m curious if anyone knows about a clean torrent site so that I might be able to justify downloading illegal movies and programs, but not have to deal with the whole porn thing?

ah, I think isohunt is decent. I guess that might be blocked though. Demonoid was good, before it got shut down. I've seen some things show that aren't clean though, and it annoys me. All they are are the torrent names though... and as long as you're not looking for anything naughty you should be fine.

Suprisingly enough, I use utorrent for a lot of legal things.... such as free online games and whatnot.

I used to use bittorrent, but I can't stand it now. It used to give at best like a 10kbps speed for download, where utorrent will go up to 70kbps, or even 120kbps combined upload and download. I love priority settings too.

www.mininova.org... I think it's the only site that DOESN'T have a lot of porn and crap all over it.

Its because most of you download .EXE and ZIP files and also cracks and keygens so you pretty much dig your own graves.
