Dlinks 624 Problem

My Pc wont connect throught the dchp, most likely because the router won't assign my pc a ip address. The router is a DI-624 and my dsl service Yahoo SBC. The internet was working before but something happened after a while my computer stop connecting. I'm not sure what i need to do to add a ip address to the DHCP in my router. I am aware of how to access my router page. Can anyone help me out

What I use:
*Not sure what the plug is called to connect through the router but i have that too.

Have you tried using the Winsockxp fix?
