I Need help!

A few months ago I bought a new laptop with Vista home premium already installed. Along with it came a free trail of Norton Internet Security 2007. I also bought the cd to install the full program for a year. However when the free trail ran out I then went to install the disc but to no avail. I have tried several times to remove the Norton software using the download on their site and then install from the disc but with no success. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong or how to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance

Do you get any error messages when the install fails?
How far do you get?

John

Have removed this post and started a new thread. Sorry, it made sense to do it this way but apparently that's not what you are supposed to do!
